  • Renata Brillinger

    Executive Director, California Climate and Agriculture Network

    Renata Brillinger has more than two decades of experience in sustainable agriculture policy and food systems projects and 30 years of experience in nonprofit administration. Areas of expertise include sustainable farming practices, agricultural solutions to climate change, including California’s one-of-a-kind Climate Smart Agriculture programs, the Healthy Soils Program, Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP), Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program (SALCP), and the California State Water Efficiency & Enhancement Program (SWEEP).

  • Constance Okollet

    Co-Founder, Climate Wise Women

    Constance Okollet is the chairperson of the Osukuru United Women Network and one of the founding members of Climate Wise Women. She is a peasant farmer from the Tororo district in Eastern Uganda and a mother of seven. In 2017, Sierra magazine noted, “Constance Okollet exemplifies the Sierra Club’s ideal of citizen advocacy.” Constance is featured in former Irish president Mary Robinson’s 2018 book Climate Justice and has been interviewed by the New York Times, CNN, and The Guardian, among others.

  • Tom Athanasiou

    Executive Director, EcoEquity

    Tom Anathasiou specializes in international climate issues, including negotiations, and international climate justice and the great problem of shaping a planetary climate transition that is fair enough to actually succeed, both within the United States and across the world. He is the author of Divided Planet: The Ecology of Rich and Poor. Tom also ran the equity working group of the International Climate Action Network between Copenhagen and Paris.

  • Janet MacGillivray

    Founder, Seeding Sovereignty

    Janet MacGillivray is an environmental attorney and social change activist. She founded Seeding Sovereignty at Standing Rock to amplify the role of Indigenous knowledge for environmental justice and regeneration. Janet is a former whistleblower who has worked in legal and leadership positions at the Environmental Protection Agency and national and international organizations. At Seeding Sovereignty, Janet directs the Climate Justice Program and develops campaigns and advocates for systematically oppressed communities.
